By staying on top of the ever-changing financial options, listening to your needs, knowing the market and neighborhoods, and negotiating the deal, Amy's clients get full-service attention from beginning to end. Buying a home can feel overwhelming and intimidating, but it doesn’t have to! Her clients and she have fun through all the serious business of finding and purchasing a home.
When working with sellers, Amy’s goal is to get your home sold to the most qualified buyer, at the highest price possible and in the least amount of time and effort on your part. Part of what sets her apart from other agents is understanding the value of prepping and staging a home for sale. She has a strong eye for detail and knows what works best to make your house ready for a quick sale.
Prior to joining Compass, Amy has worked in new home construction, specializing in the condominiums in the DC metro area. Before her real estate career, she worked in marketing and public relations at Washingtonpost.com, Suited for Change, and the Center for Women’s Business Research.
Amy graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1998 with a BA in English and a BS in Communications. Amy lives in Arlington, Virginia a.k.a. “The Urban Village.” In her free time, you can find her sipping a chai latte at Northside Social or practicing Pilates and Yoga. She loves to shop for vintage stuff, she considers “reading” a sport and she believes in supporting her local community by buying from local businesses.
In 2019 and 2020, Amy was selected as one of America's Top 100 agents representing only 1% of all active real estate professionals in the US. She has also been chosen by Washingtonian magazine for the last 3 years as one of the top agents in the DMV, and recognized by DC Modern Luxury magazine in 2020.

I love what I do…my clients become like family to me and I advocate fiercely for them from the very first meeting when I start to get to know them ask them to get to know them and their needs, to providing local expertise in neighborhoods across the DMV, to educating them on the financing side-which programs they can take advantage of to get the most house for the least money through inspections, and closing and after.
